English Language Acquisition (ELA Formerly 'ESL')

Our English classes are taught through a blend of conversation, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation, as used in everyday communication. Classes are held day and night all year long!

  • Beginning level classes focus on pronunciation and English literacy as well as daily, real-life communication skills.
  • Intermediate classes challenge students to more complex reading, writing, and grammar.
  • Advanced level classes focus on mastering complex reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills.
  • After students develop a basic command of English language and grammar, our Conversation based classes help develop fluency and ease with common American English expressions and idioms.

 US FlagCitizenship

The Citizenship class is a combination of ELA (English Language Acquisition; formerly “ESL”) and preparation for the U.S. Citizenship exam. Topics include United States history, government, rights and responsibilities of citizens, civic participation, citizenship requirements, conversational English, and basic English literacy. Classes provide practice questions that may be on the test, writing, reading, citizenship interview practice, and some work with citizenship applications.
