The Pathways Case Manager (PCM) assists students with educational attainment of their goals. The PCM administers the student intake process including screening as well as administering testing and placement of students. The PCM also supports students in overcoming barriers related to adult education that impede life goals, employment, and re-employment. The PCM conducts follow-up services with AIALC students on a regular and ongoing basis to foster student success as well as assisting in organizing job fairs, and facilitating work readiness and soft skill training for AIALC students. The PCM works in collaboration and outreach with community agencies for the betterment of the Newport Community School's students and programs. Outside agency referrals are made by the PCM who serves as the AIALC program Learning Disabilities Designee. Students are welcome to meet with the PCM at any time should they seek emotional, behavioral, physical, mental, financial, or learning assistance.
